Education comes in many forms and experiences and exposure to new things can be life changing. It is our sincere hope that through this exhibition our youth and young adults alike will have the opportunity to explore career options that may fire the spark that can carry each of us for a lifetime. It seems that within our school systems there is not an abundance of information regarding the many careers in the aviation and aerospace industries. Many of us may still look up today and wonder "what if". With this in mind, EFX is proud to announce the following resources to explore careers in flight.

Mr. Dick Rutan, the pilot of the first around the world, non-stop and unrefuled flight in the Voyager aircraft will be attending the Electric Flight Expo on Saturday April 26, 2008. Mr. Rutan will be on hand to speak at our event. "If you can dream it, you can do it"; these are very powerful words and an uplifting speech spoken by the legend himself.

US Airways will be on hand do discuss the many varied careers within the airline industry. Pilots, Flight Attendants, Mechanics and Engineers will all be on hand to tell you about the many facets of working in the aviation industry. If you are so inclined, you can even apply for a job right there!

All flight is a direct result of our fascination with birds. If you are a bird or flight enthusiast, come see the great educational displays and demonstrations of the predators of Arizona. This magnificent display will not only entertain, but educate about how aircraft design directly equates to different designs found in nature. Educators will be on hand to give lessons and discuss careers within the various disciplines of wildlife management. Falconer Gary Lollman will be presenting a flighted demonstration and educational talk on Saturday April 26th.

Corporate aviation legend Boeing will be on hand to display some of the latest technologies in unmanned flight. Come learn about careers in aerospace design, engineering and the sciences associated with developing what is truly the leading edge of aerospace.

The United States Air Force will be in the house to display all that the most exciting aviation career can be. In addition to various displays our fine men and women of the USAF will be presenting the colors on Saturday the 26th of April to honor the families of Snowball Express.

Last but most certainly not least, Sgt Dana Bowman will be "dropping in" to show us first hand the power of the human spirit. The most famous Golden Knight to ever live will be at the Electric Flight Expo speaking about what each of us can achieve. This is one of the most remarkable stories we have ever heard so be sure to be on hand Saturday April 26 at 10:30 AM.
